It obviously does not help when characters are all one uniform physically impossible size as they are now, I agree.
Health is not something you will ever be able to observe within the space of a 1.5 hour movie. Forcing yet another standard of "everyone must be middle sized” helps no one and solves nothing, it just sticks yet another size standard into the mix that does not take into account an individuals history, genetics, lifestyle, choice, intake limitations, et cetera. It’s not that health isn’t important but health is so many things, so complex, so much operating on a lot of different levels including socio-economic privilege and access to/affordability of “healthy foods."Ī size zero can be natural.
